It's About Time | 1966
While testing a NASA rocket, American astronauts Mac MacKenzie and Hector Wyland penetrate a turbulance area and are propelled back into time -- to a world of cave people and prehistoric creatures. The series relates their efforts to adjust to their new world and locate the copper they need to repair their disabled craft. Five months later, when Mac and Hector find the copper they need to repair their rocket, they begin preparations to leave. Unknown to them, a cave family they had befriended sneak aboard the craft.
With their unknown passengers, the astronauts manage to again break the time barrier -- and land in present day Los Angeles. With no other choice but to care for the cave family, they decide to conceal them in Mac's apartment. Stories relate the cave family's attempts to master the ways of modern society; and Mac and Hector's efforts to keep NASA officials from learning of their prehistoric friends.
