‘Jersey Shore’ and MTV to ‘Restore the Shore’ with a Hurricane Sandy Relief Special

A Jersey Shore reunion is on its way, and for once, it’s not going to be about the outlandish antics we have come to expect from the crazy, GTL-obsessed crew. The cast has put their drinking and random one night stands on hold and is planning on getting together to do some fundraising to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The cast and other celebrities will be participating in a one-hour special that will air live Nov. 15 from MTV’s Times Square Studio. Partnering with Architecture for Humanity’s “Restore the Shore” campaign, the Jersey Shore cast will be asking viewers to help aid New Jersey relief.

Jersey Shore fans may know this already by now, but the hurricane last week ripped apart Seaside Heights, the oceanside New Jersey town where the hit MTV show was filmed. And the infamous boardwalk where the cast loved to hang out was completely devastated.

This TV special will encourage Jersey Shore fans to donate anything they can to help restore the Seaside Heights community and those affected by the storm in Jersey. Tune in on Nov. 15 at 11 PM ET to show your support. Fans can also donate money online at ArchitectureforHumanity.org. Click here to help those in need.
