Former Sex & the City star John Corbett wowed Nashville, Tennessee’s country music fans on Monday night when he debuted music from his upcoming self-titled album at the city’s Mercy Lounge.
The actor told fans that showed up to support him that he was thrilled to get the chance to premiere his music.
He said, “I was secretly afraid that nobody was going to be here tonight. It really changed my life meeting a lot of you people.”
Corbett performed for 30 minutes before leaving the stage and greeting fans in the audience, but he returned to the stage later in the evening for a 20-minute encore.
His set included two tributes to his hero Johnny Cash—“Cash” and “The Only Daddy Who’ll Walk the Line.”
Corbett‘s debut album is scheduled to be released in March.
