John Goodman currently co-stars on one of TV’s heaviest dramas, Damages, but he’s set to balance it out with a recurring role on one of TV’s silliest (but best) comedies, Community.
The onetime Roseanne star has signed on for at least six episodes to play Vice Dean Laybourne, the Greendale version of a villain.
Laybourne is head of the community college’s air conditioner repair wing, and he is said to factor in immediately (as in season 3 premiere) to the dynamic that Joel McHale and Co. have going.
