Johnny Knoxville Hits Out at ‘Jackass’ Sex Assault Claims

Hollywood star Johnny Knoxville has slammed claims his prank TV show, Jackass, is linked to a DVD of an alleged sexual assault produced by schoolchildren.

The shocking film, shot in the town of Werribee in southern Australia in June, reportedly shows a dozen youths sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl, setting her hair on fire and urinating on her.

Some sections of the Australian media claim the DVD was inspired by stunts from the Jackass TV show and films, which have included Knoxville standing blindfolded in a rodeo ring and having an anti-riot mine explode in front of him.

But Knoxville furiously denies any link between Jackass and the Werribee DVD, fuming, “I’m sorry, but we didn’t invent cameras for doing something stupid. People have been doing that since the beginning of time.

“Those little b**tards are evil, what they did to some girl, how the f**k do you put that on us? We’re not mean-spirited, we’re not evil.”
