Happy Star Wars Day, May the 4th be with you!
Star Wars fans have something to celebrate today: Star Wars: The Bad Batch is now streaming on Disney+ with a special 70-minute long premiere, with new episodes posted every Friday. So far it’s slated to have 16 episodes.
About Star Wars: The Bad Batch
According to Disney, Star Wars: The Bad Batch “follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.”
The Bad Batch is described as a unique squad of clones who are different from the Clone Army: each member of the Bad Batch has a special skill that makes them effective soldiers.

That’s not all that’s coming today
Disney+ is also debuting a new Star Wars-inspired short called Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap.’
Yes, that’s a Simpsons x Star Wars mash-up.
Here’s how Disney describes it:
“In a daycare far, far away… but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier. Her adventure brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum, and an ultimate battle against the dark side, in this original short celebrating the Star Wars galaxy.”
Disney is also inviting us to take a “virtual vacation” by flying through some of the most iconic locations seen in Star Wars movies, including Hoth, Tatooine, and Sorgan through the Star Wars Biomes series.
Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs is another virtual experience where you get to explore the iconic interiors and exteriors of both the Millenium Falcon and an Imperial Star Destroyer.
