Kelly Osbourne couldn’t tell her dad Ozzy she was the Ladybug on America’s The Masked Singer, because he can’t keep a secret.
The singer and TV personality’s true identity was revealed on Wednesday night’s (November 13, 2019) show, and Kelly was quick to point out there were family members she couldn’t tell about her new gig.
“I couldn’t tell my dad because my dad’s a gossip,” she told Billboard after her unmasking aired. “He’s like proud. He would say, ‘Have you seen my Kelly? Have you seen my Kelly…?’ He would want to brag about it. So I didn’t tell my dad until recently and the concept of it kind of got lost (on him).
“My mom knew… (and) my brother. That’s it… Dad would have have been too into it.”
Ozzy is still recovering from a nasty fall at home in January (2019). He canceled all of his 2019 dates following the accident, which dislodged metal plates in his spine, but hopes to be back on the road for his No More Tours 2 rescheduled dates in 2020.
