Level 9 | 2000
Level 9 is a top-secret government agency, made up of unconventional and incorruptible experts drawn from every Federal law enforcement agency as well as the cyber underground, which is the United States' last line of defense against major criminal plots. The Level 9 team works in a code of silence and is lead by Annie Price, a brilliant and uncompromising woman who trusts no one outside her team -- and maybe not all of them. The one element missing from the high-tech computer wizardry of Level 9 is added when they begrudgingly accept the street savvy and gut instincts of Jack Wiley, who likes to make up the rules as he goes along.
The team also includes: Jerry Hooten, a former Postal Inspector whose specialty is surveillance; Joss Nakano, a deputy marshal who tracks anything that moves; Wilbert Thibodeaux, called "Tibbs," a Secret Service agent from New Orleans who handles field operations like a general at war; Roland Travis, a super-cool ex-criminal whose past gives him nothing in common with his colleagues; and Jargon and Sosh, a team of computer wizards.
