British actor STEPHEN MERCHANT and his actress girlfriend HAYLEY ATWELL were involved in a car accident in Los Angeles last week (ends22Feb15).
Ricky Gervais’ comedy partner and the Captain America star were driving through Melrose Avenue at the time of the shunt with another vehicle, but no one was seriously injured.
As the couple waited for police and a tow-truck to arrive on Friday (20Feb15), Merchant bought coffee and cakes for everyone caught up in the drama.
