Synopsis

Comedy series set in a popular Washington, D.C., bar and grill that attracts everyone from political insiders to cab drivers. Deals with adult issues from an African-American perspective. Regular characters include: Eleanor, a children's rights activist with a crumbling marriage; Russell A. Lincoln, also known as Linc, the conservative owner of the tavern; Rosalee, Linc's daughter, a 23-year-old infantry lieutenant; Johnnie, a DC lobbyist with questionable ethics; CeCe, a wise-cracking waitress; Harlan, a white chief of staff for the Republican senator of Mississippi; Eartha, the neighborhood prostitute/call girl; and Winston, a Nigerian cab driver who always knows the latest gossip from Capitol Hill.
