‘Liz & Dick’ Investigated After Lindsay Lohan and Crewmembers Faint — REPORT

Lindsey LohanFor once, people are actually taking Lindsay Lohan’s side in a legal matter. On Friday, June 15, Lohan was discovered unconscious on the set of her Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, in which the young actress is portraying Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. Paramedics determined that Lohan suffered a bout of exhaustion and dehydration. On Sunday, June 17, two crewmembers on the film were reportedly hospitalized for similar reasons, resulting in their hospitalization. In response to this, the actors union SAG-AFTRA has opened investigations into the Lifetime project to determine the existence of any legal violations, including state labor laws or union regulations, that might have caused these incidents for Lohan and the crewmembers in question.

The union told The Hollywood Reporter, “We’re looking into this matter, but can’t yet provide any verified information,” adding, “Our contracts protect members on the job, and if these kinds of situations are occurring and our members advise us about it, we will contact production and make certain that the contract is being adhered to in all aspects – particularly including performers’ safety.”

THR also posts a statement from a spokesman for Larry A. Thomson, executive producer on Liz & Dick: “We have not been contacted by anyone at SAG-AFTRA about any complaint … (nor) by anyone at IATSE about any investigation.” He added, “We are in total compliance with all Guild regulations on Liz & Dick.”
