Synopsis

An adaptation of R.D. Blakemore's novel, "Lorna Doone." Set in 17th century England about a love affair between a farmer and an outlaw's daughter, who is hiding her identity. As a child, John Ridd saw his father murdered by the Doones and has sworn his family's enmity against them. A chance meeting with a beautiful, young woman changes the course of his life as he falls in love with the heiress to the outlaws' fortune: Lorna Doone. But the ruthless Carver Doone will stop at nothing to claim Lorna for his own.
