Louis C.K. Set To Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

fallTV_back_651x113_2012.jpgALTHere’s some news that will alleviate the pain of that long Louie Season 4 hiatus: our beloved Louis/Louie, will finally get his shot at late night television.

Louis C.K. will host Saturday Night Live for his first time on Nov. 3. Riding high off of his multiple Emmy wins, the comedian/actor/director/all-around Renaissance Man will bring his brand of unflinching humor to Studio 8H for what’s bound to be a highly buzzed about episode. By Nov. 3, C.K., who is currently on tour, will be fresh off his sold-out, multiple-night run in New York City.

The episode — which will be the first new SNL following the Oct. 20 episode with host/musical guest Bruno Mars — will feature chart-toppers .fun (the ubiquitous “Some Nights” and “We Are Young”) as musical guests.
For a week that included news like this, as well as Amy Poehler and Tina Fey‘s Golden Globes hosting stint and Stephen Colbert‘s cameo in The Hobbit (speaking of, when is he going to host?), we all must have done something to please the pop culture gods. Let’s keep it up, everyone!
Saturday Night Live airs at 11:30 PM ET on NBC.
