The night is dark, and full of… luaus? Wrong show, but in the dead of winter, we’re rejoicing over AMC’s announcement that Mad Men will return on Sunday, April 7 — meaning that, for approximately two months, Mad Men and Game of Thrones will be on the same night. Let that one sink in for a second.
Okay. So. The news gets even better — not only will Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) definitely be back on the show after departing Sterling Cooper Draper (Pryce?) last season, but Don and his iffy young bride Megan will take a trip to the Aloha State. Draper’s trips have often led to some of the series’ best episodes — his sudden proposal to Megan, retreat in Palm Springs, and final meeting with Anna stand out — so we’re raising a glass of winter rum punch in anticipation.
