Recreating famous buildings can be tough but it’s a necessary evil. If you’re on a show like ‘Madam Secretary and you want to get the show as realistic as possible, and recreating a room as recognizable as the United Nations would be difficult if not impossible.
Luckily for last night’s episode of ‘Madam Secretary’, the crew didn’t have to worry about recreating the UN. The cast and crew went to New York where they were allowed into the United Nations building in order to shoot a very crucial scene. Hear from the crew as well as stars of the show Téa Leoni, Erich Bergen, Patina Miller and more talk about what an honor it was to shoot in the room as well as the responsibility they had to make it as realistic as possible:
Madam Secretary airs Sundays at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
