Making Sense of the Sixties | 1990
A six-part documentary series focusing on different aspects of the 1960s. The first episode looks at the antecedents of the decade, beginning with the dropping of the atomic bomb and ending with the election of John F. Kennedy. The second looks at the idealism of the early '60s; the third examines the counter-culture; the fourth examines the politics of the period; and the fifth looks at the social changes that took place. The final episode examines the impact of the '60s today.
