Matt Damon to Appear in Showtime Climate Change Docuseries—REPORT

ALTMatt Damon has been no stranger to ecological causes. So it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that the former Jason Bourne has just committed to appearing in an eight-part docuseries on climate change to air on Showtime, according to The Hollywood Reporter.. Representatives for the premium cable network couldn’t be reached for comment or confirmation regarding Damon’s participation.

James Cameron (Avatar) and Jerry Weintraub (Nashville, The Karate Kid) are producing the series, which will focus on the man-made aspects of global warming. 60 Minutes producers David Gelber and Joel Bach are also attached to the project, which remains without financing or a set airdate.
