Boyz II Men star Wanya Morris and Geraldo Rivera join the cast for Season 22 of show Dancing with the Stars.
The cast were announced on U.S. show Good Morning America on Tuesday (08Mar16). As well as Wanya and Fox TV personality Geraldo, American football stars Von Miller and Doug Flutie and Ultimate Fighting Champion Paige VanZant are also signed up.
They join Mischa Barton, who is paired with Artem Chigvintsev. She told People magazine she is prepared for the challenge, saying, “I know (it) will push me to my limits, both emotionally and physically… You always learn something about yourself by doing that.”
Actress and TV personality Marla Maples has also previously been announced. She was married to Republican candidate Donald Trump between 1993 and 1999, and will test her dancing skills with professional partner Tony Dovolani in the upcoming season of the reality competition.
Full House actress Jodie Sweetin, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields, TV meteorologist Ginger Zee and America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco are also all in the 2016 line-up.
Jodie previously admitted she had wanted to take part in the show before she was not able to because of work commitments. She said, “I would have loved to have done it in the past but it was a huge scheduling conflict with Fuller House at the time so I wasn’t able to do it, but I’m a huge fan of the show…
“I’ve always loved to dance. Stephanie was a dancer on the show, I danced growing up, not as much as I would have liked to, I definitely don’t call myself a professional but I have some experience, I have some rhythm, so I’ll be OK.”
The new season airs in the U.S. from 21 March (16).
