Meet the Season 30 Cast of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars announced its Season 30 cast and we’re so excited to watch our favorite Hollywood stars in the ballroom every week! The new season premieres on September 20 and will be hosted by model, actress, and reality television personality Tyra Banks. This marks Tyra’s second season hosting the competition show.

Dancing with the Stars Season 30 cast features Hollywood’s biggest names

The Dancing with the Stars Season 30 cast is filled with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Known for her appearances on the reality show Dance Moms, JoJo Siwa is a dancer, YouTuber, actress, and singer. JoJo told USA TODAY that she will be part of Dancing with the Stars’ first-ever same-sex dance pairing. This comes after JoJo announced that she is a member of the LGBTQ+ community back in January.

Jimmie Allen is a country singer and songwriter who is known for his songs “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To,” both of which are certified RIAA: Platinum.

Spice Girl Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm (Sporty Spice) will soon make her way to the ballroom. In an interview with Good Morning America, Mel C said that fellow Spice Girl and former DWTS contestant Mel B advised her to “enjoy every minute and every moment” of her experience on the show.

Next up competing for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy is actor Brian Austin Green. Brian is known for his work on Beverly Hills, 90210 as the character David Silver.

Melora Hardin is an actress who has starred in a variety of films and TV shows such as 27 Dresses, 17 Again, Transparent and The Bold Type. But she is probably best known for playing Jan Levinson on The Office.

Martin Kove is a fellow actor who is known for his character Sensei John Kreese in The Karate Kid film franchise and Netflix’s spinoff series Cobra Kai.

Suni Lee is an American gymnast who was on the 2020 Olympic team and won the gold medal in the all-around event, silver in the team event, and bronze in the uneven bars final in Tokyo.

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin is a WWE wrestler who is also known for his appearances on MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, as well as his reality show Miz & Mrs.

Cody Rigsby is a Peloton cycling instructor who has grown a large following on Instagram and TikTok.

Iman Shumpert is an NBA player who has played for the New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and won an NBA championship in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Christine Chiu is a Los Angeles socialite, philanthropist, and co-founder of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, Inc. Christine is known for her appearance on Netflix’s reality show Bling Empire, which she also produced.

Olivia Jade is a social media influencer who is known for her lifestyle videos on YouTube. Daughter of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, Olivia has made headlines in recent years for her family’s involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Matt James was the lead in ABC’s season 25 of The Bachelor and is known for being the show’s first Black bachelor!

Kenya Moore is an actress, model, and television personality. Kenya won the Miss USA contest in 1993 and went on to compete in Miss Universe pageant where she placed in the top 6. Kenya Moore is best known for her appearance on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Amanda Kloots is a co-host on The Talk, a fitness instructor, a former Rockette, and a New York Times bestselling author. Amanda told Good Morning America that she feels she can connect with her late husband through this experience: “I think the best way to honor somebody’s life is to keep living your life and I know Nick would want me to do that.” Amanda Kloots’s husband was Broadway actor Nick Cordero who died from COVID-19 in July 2020.

Dancing with the Stars Season 30 pros and judges

Plenty of fan-favorite pros are returning to Dancing with the Stars to share the stage with these Hollywood names.

Cheryl Burke has starred in 23 seasons of Dancing with the Stars and won the Mirrorball Trophy with partners Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith in seasons 2 and 3, respectively.

This season marks Emma Slater’s 13th season of Dancing with the Stars. She took home the Mirrorball Trophy with her partner Rashad Jennings in season 24.

Jenna Johnson has been featured as a pro on 5 seasons of Dancing with the Stars. She won season 26 with her partner, Olympian Adam Rippon.

This will be Lindsay Arnold’s 10th season starring as a pro on DWTS, and her first season back after giving birth to her daughter in November 2020. Lindsay won the Mirrorball Trophy with her partner Jordan Fisher in season 25.

Sharna Burgess has starred as a pro in 13 seasons of Dancing with the Stars and won season 27 with her partner Bobby Bones. Sharna is currently dating Season 30 star Brian Austin Green!

Witney Carson has danced as a pro for 11 seasons on DWTS. She came in first with Alfonso Ribeiro on season 19. This season also marks her first season back after becoming a mother in January 2021.

Britt Stewart will return for her second season as a pro on Dancing with the Stars. She came in sixth place with her partner Johnny Weir on season 29.

Season 30 marks Daniella Karagach second season on Dancing with the Stars after she came in third place with her partner Nelly on season 29.

Alan Bersten has starred in 5 seasons of Dancing with the Stars as a pro, winning the Mirrorball Trophy in season 28 with his partner Hannah Brown.

This will be Artem Chigvintsev’s 10th season dancing as a pro on DWTS.  He placed first last season with his partner Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Brandon Armstrong has starred in 3 seasons of Dancing with the Stars. His past partners included Tinashe, Mary Wilson, and Jeannie Mai.

Season 30 marks Gleb Savchenko’s 9th season on Dancing with the Stars. He placed fourth in seasons 23 and 28 with his respective partners Jana Kramer and Lauren Alaina.

Pasha Pashkov has danced as a pro on 2 seasons of DWTS. His partners included Kate Flannery and Carole Baskin.

Sasha Farber starred in 8 seasons of Dancing with the Stars, placing third in seasons 26 and 28 with his respective partners Tonya Harding and Ally Brooke.

This marks Valentin “Val” Chmerkovskiy’s 17th season of Dancing with the Stars. He has won the Mirrorball Trophy with past partners Rumer Willis and Laurie Hernandez.

Judging this season will be Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. This season marks Len Goodman’s first time back as a judge since Season 28, as he was unable to judge last season due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
