Good news for fans of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken: There is a Robot Chicken DC Comics special in the works. It will air this fall and feature all the favorite characters from the beloved stop-motion-animation sketch-comedy show, including the Robot Chicken Nerd, the Humping Robot, Composite Santa and the Mad Scientist.
Even better, the regulars will be joined by the mainstays of the DC Comics universe, with many being voiced by a big name: Series co-creator Seth Green as Batman, Robin, and Aquaman (sorry, Adrian Grenier), Paul Reubens as the Riddler, Neil Patrick Harris as Two-Face; Megan Fox making comic book fans’ hearts melt as Lois Lane, and many, many more!
It’s all part of Adult Swim’s recently announced 2012-2013 programming schedule, its largest ever. Also on tap are a spinoff of the popular series Children’s Hospital, called Newsreaders, and an animated version of the Harold & Kumar franchise, among others.
