There have been many men in Sex and the City that made us swoon, frustrated, cry, and laugh. But after all these years you have to wonder where are they now? Well we checked up on 13 of these actors to see where their careers have gone after being on one of the greatest shows to ever be on television.
The actor was arguably the man of the show and went by "Big." Although he could have probably kicked back and never worked again, he's still at it! He plays disgraced lawyer, Peter Florrick on The Good Wife and is a new movie called White Girl.
He played sweet Miranda's husband, Steve that balanced out her rough edges. Since the show he did a few movies and episodes of different shows. But lately he's been playing Christopher Herrmann, a firefighter on Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D.
The actor played Aidan Shaw who was the nice guy Carrie just wasn't into. Since then he has been basically been playing more nice guys. He was on United States of Tara and Parenthood. Today he is returning to his role as Ian in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
The actor played Charlotte's first husband that wasn't sexually compatible with her. After his exit from the show he has worked on more shows like Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He has most recently been working on Portlandia and made a real circle around to Twin Peaks, which is getting new episodes years after it was cancelled early.
After Trey came Harry who was Charlotte's second husband. Since playing the lawyer, the actor went on to Necessary Roughness, Californication, and The Astronaut Wives Club. But now you might have seen him on American Crime Story playing Alan Dershowitz, who was one of the many lawyers of O.J. Simpson.
He played the handsome actor and model, Smith Jerrod who was also Samantha's longtime partner. Since then he had a big part on Charmed and Brothers & Sisters. He now has a few movies coming out including Half Magic and Palm Swings.
The other love of Samantha's life was the smooth talking Richard. He has since been keeping busy in Justin League, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, and Wilfred. Now he plays Cephelo in The Shannara Chronicles and will be in the upcoming movie, The Dog Lover.
He played "The Russian" or Aleksandr Petrovsky who was the last man to date Carrie before her reunion with Big. His character kind of expected her to stop everything for him so it didn't work out. Baryshinikov has slowed down from acting since the show. He was recently in Doll & Em playing Mikhail. He has also been live performing in a one man show in New York.
The actor played fellow writer, Berger who infamously dumped Carrie in a post-it note. After the show he went on to Stand Off, Defying Gravity, The Conjuring, and Boardwalk Empire. He now seems more focused on doing movies and plays Oliver Sullivan in The 5th Wave.
The handsome actor played Dr. Robert Leeds who lived in Miranda's building and hooked up with her. The actor has been busy since by working on Fatherhood, LAX, The Treatment, Secret Millionaire, and more. He more recently has been working on shows that have hired other SATC alums like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and was recently on The Good Wife.
The actor played a character named Skipper who pretty much disappeared without a trace after season one. He tried dating Miranda, but she pretty much ghosted him. Since then he was in Everwood, The West Wing, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. The last thing he did was last year's Come Simi.
The actor played Anthony who was Charlotte's good friend and the husband of Stanford. Since the show he has been doing more movies than tv. His last movie was In Stereo, but is now performing in the off-Broadway play, A Room of My Own.
