Season 8 of Grey’s Anatomy fires up on September 22 at 9 p.m. on ABC, but for now, fans will have to watch this 30-second promo over and over to try and piece together what will go down on the two-hour premiere. The biggest news of course is that Meredith’s actions got her fired, as in given the axe, sent packing, cut loose. You get the idea. We also get yet another instance of people not liking Alex, an unlikely pair hooking up and Meredith running around the hospital muttering to herself. Yep, that sounds about right.
