Fifteen-year-old Andrea Carson loves motocross racing. However, her father, believing girls should not compete in the sport, wants her to stick to cheerleading. In fact, he's pinned all of his hopes of winning a corporate racing sponsorship on Andrea's twin brother, Andrew. When Andrew is injured during a practice race against his sister, Mr. Carson heads to Europe looking for a replacement rider. Andrea, feeling responsible, cuts her hair and poses as her brother in order to compete in an important series of races. Comic complications follow as Andrea tries to pull off her masquerade without friends, family or a handsome fellow racer finding out and come out a winner in this male-dominated sport.
