‘The X-Files’ started on 1993 and ran until 2002. The series had an incredible run of 9 seasons with a total of 202 and episodes. Now 13 years later, FOX is returning to open up a case.
If you have never seen an episode or were too young to watch the series, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) were two FBI agents who investigated the strange and unexplained cases. Mulder believed in the existence of alien life while Scully was extremely skeptical about the possibility. Early in the series, the two realize that they must learn to trust one another since they can’t trust anyone else.
This time, the two are in a six episode mini-series in which they open up a case that changes everything. The pair have not spoken in awhile when Mulder calls Scully to tell her everything has been a lie:

The X-Files 6 episode series begins with a two-night event, starting Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 10 PM ET (Right after the NFC Championship game) and continues the following day on it’s regular time period premiere (8 PM ET) on Fox.
