Murder in a Small Town | 1998
Set in 1938, successful Broadway director "Cash" flees New York City with his daughter when his wife is brutally murdered. He finds a safe haven in Stamford, Connecticut, and starts a community theater, hoping to live a quiet life. When one of Cash's former backers, a wealthy businessman, is found murdered, Stamford police lieutenant Tony Rossini asks Cash for help. Cash uses instincts and character motivation to find the murderer and tries to come to terms with the tragic events of his past.
