My Favorite Martian | 1963
Enroute to the office, Tim O'Hara, a newspaper reporter for the "Los Angeles Sun," witnesses the crash of a U.F.O. Investigating, he befriends its passenger, a professor of anthropology from Mars whose specialty is the primitive planet Earth. Tim takes the marooned professor back to his apartment, where the Martian adopts the guise of Martin O'Hara, an uncle staying with Tim after a long journey.
Martin struggles to repair his crippled craft, conceal his true identity, and adjust to the discomforts of life on such a primitive, backward planet.
