A new format for documentary films produced by the National Geographic Society. In separate installments, five or six individual films on varying subjects are presented. The first program consists of the following films: "Opera Vertical" which shows dangerous cliff climbing in France; "Cowgirls" which describes three generations of cowgirls in Wyoming.
"Cameras On the Move" profiles Garrett Brown, the inventor of Steadicam and Skycam; "Messengers of the Gods" describes the facts and myths about cranes; and "Holy Stone" examines the world's finest marble in the quarries at Carrara, Italy.
