Former Glee star Nene Leakes has issued an apology after wishing rape on a fan.
The 49-year-old took to Facebook to address the controversial incident on Monday (09Oct17).
“I truly regret and apologize for what I said from the stage in Oakland over the weekend,” she posted. “Sometimes words can cut deep and hurt when you have no intentions of them doing so.”
During a stand-up show in Oakland, California on Sunday (08Oct17) the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star reportedly addressed a heckler from the stage, stating she hoped her Uber driver raped her on the way home.
