2016 was quite a year, and quite frankly if it wasn’t for Netflix gems like Stranger Things and Luke Cage, and Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life we don’t know if we would have made it this far. It looks like Netflix has no plans on stopping all of the sensational original programming in the new year. With A Series Of Unfortunate Events and a new version of Anne Of Green Gables, Netflix is going to be lit in 2017. Netflix is reimagining Norman Lear's iconic sitcom, One Day At A Time. The comedy will follow a Cuban-American family which includes a recently separated mom (Justina Machado), her teen daughter (Isabella Gomez), tween son (Marcel Ruiz), and the family matriarch, played by EGOT winner, Rita Moreno. Netflix is bringing to life the ghastly tale of the poor orphaned Baudelaire children and their escape from the diabolical Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris). The fourth Marvel series from Netflix is finally hitting the streaming service in March. This series will focus on Danny Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist (Finn Jones) who uses martial arts and supernatural powers in order to defend NYC. Also, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are total bros in the comics.
