With all of the excitement surrounding the premiere of Netflix‘s third Marvel series Luke Cage this past weekend, it’s not surprising that the streaming service would take that momentum and run with it. This morning, Netflix shared the first photo of their next Marvel franchise Iron Fist, and they even blessed us with a premiere date.
In a rather ambiguous teaser trailer, Netflix announced the premiere date for Iron Fist, which will be March 17, 2017. In Netflix’s fourth Marvel series, Game of Thrones alum, Finn Jones will star as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist, who returns to New York City fifteen years after he was presumed dead in a plane crash. Rand is out to reclaim his birthright and his family’s company. Check out the much more robust first look from San Diego Comic-Con below.
