Netflix Totally Might Be Reviving ‘Gilmore Girls’

Netflix might totally be reviving Gilmore Girls which is news that millions of fans have been waiting for since the the series’ rocky end back in 2007. Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino left the show after some contract disputes with Warner Bros. when The WB switched to The CW, and the show was never the same. However, it looks like all will be right with the Rory, Lorelei and the residents of Stars Hallow. According to TV Line, Netflix has just signed a deal with Warner Brothers for a limited revival of the show which will consist to four, 90-minute episodes. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are all expected to return for the this grand finale. Amy Sherman-Palladino will finally get to end the show the way she intended it to end from the very beginning; with four elusive words that never came to fruition.

It seems like Sherman-Palladino was even hinting at this revival when she reunited with the cast at the ATX TV Festival this past summer. She said of a possible resurrection, “It would have to be the right everything — the right format, the right timing,” she said. “If it ever happened, I promise we’ll do it correctly.” Obviously, this means that Rory and Jess will end up together. It will also be a wonderful way to pay homage to the late Edward Herrmann who played the stern but loving Richard Gilmore.  Though the possible revival is still in the very early stages of negotiations, you should probably start binge-watching the series all over again.
