New ‘Community’ Trailers: Spoilers, Excitement and Tasers

CommunityOnly one week remains until the return of television’s most important achievement since Walter Cronkite’s denouncement of the Vietnam War: Community

In celebration, Community star Joel McHale’s other show, E!’s The Soup, has created a trailer teasing some upcoming frenetically epic story lines. In addition, NBC also released a video, starring McHale and Community costar Jim Rash introducing the episodes to come…and disposing of an unfortunate victim. You can watch both videos below.
As much as any devout Community fan will love this first video, it is worth mentioning that a great deal of material and information is revealed, so those wishing to avoid spoilers should beware. But if you’re willing to delve in and see what is coming up for Jeff (McHale), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Pierce (Chevy Chase), Annie (Alison Brie), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi), then prepare for alarming levels of excitement. Community heads back to TV on Thursday, Mar. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. To learn more about the upcoming episode, “Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts,” and hear about what else is in store for the show’s future, check out our report on the Community at Paleyfest event from this past weekend.

Staff editor Michael Arbeiter’s natural state of being can best be described as “mild panic attack.” His earliest memories of growing up in Queens, New York, involve nighttime conversations with a voice from his bedroom wall (the jury’s still out on what that was all about) and a love for classic television that spawned from the very first time he was allowed to watch “The Munsters.” Attending college at SUNY Binghamton, a 20-year-old Michael learned two things: that he could center his future on this love for TV and movies, and that dragons never actually existed — he was kind of late in the game on that one.
