Synopsis

Using chronological archival footage mixed with more recent interviews, the documentary covers Bob Dylan's early career, starting with his arrival in New York City in 1961 and ending with the 1966 motorcycle accident that almost took his life. Dylan began as an earnest folk singer but quickly morphed into something less classifiable, hitting rock superstardom and becoming the voice of a generation.
