Tonight is a sad night in the world of Teen WolfIt looks like Beacon Hills High will be closing its doors for good.

During Thursday’s Comic-Con panel, Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis announced that season six would be the show’s last — and we’re so, so sad! How are we going to live without this show?

Despite the fact that the series is ending, it exceeded the network’s expectations and had an undeniably successful run.

Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined… We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure,” Davis said.

Tyler Posey, the series star, also attended the panel to share this bittersweet moment with the rest of the cast. Posey hints at how the series’ end feels good and complete. He even has an idea of where Scott could go in the course of the next year.

“There’s nothing negative about all this,” he said. “I’m really happy. I’m going to cry my eyes out [at the end]. And it’s going to be an ugly-cry too.”

We’re emotional too, Tyler! You’re not alone in this.

There’s not too much known about which way the final season will go, but Teen Wolf tweeted a first look.

Davis also confirmed the surprising return of Peter (played by Ian Bohen). Davis wanted to see the relationship between Peter and Malia grow in the final season, so the character had to return.

“When we realized this might be the last season, we wanted to make sure we brought back these relationships. We definitely wanted Peter Hale back to see the relationship between Peter and Malia and what other trouble Peter could get into… and we also have some great scenes between Peter and Stiles. I wanted to see again and Ian and Dylan [O’Brien] have some great stuff this season so we’ll see,” he said during the panel.

Season six will premiere on MTV in November and run for 20 episodes. The 100th episode will serve as the series’ finale. We’re bracing ourselves for the massive loss already.
