‘All My Children’ and ‘One Life to Live’ Announce Online Premieres

One Life to Live/All My Children

After a collective 84 years of occupying the ABC Network’s soapiest time slots, All My Children and One Life to Live were given the boot from the airwaves in 2011 and 2012, respectively. But just like with so many of their own characters, we only thought the daytime dramas were dead. Some crafty writing tricks, and the boundless world of the Internet, have brought them back.

Mainstays of the genre since their series premieres in 1970 and 1968, All My Children and One Life to Live announced plans to revive with new episodes via online media, such as Hulu and iTunes. Now, both programs have revealed their planned Internet debut date: Monday, Apr. 29.
