Synopsis

The sixth in a series of six primetime specials produced jointly by CBS News and Time magazine celebrating the lives and legacies of 100 people who shaped the past 100 years, coinciding with six special issues of Time magazine. The final installment reveals the identity of "The Person of the Century" as chosen by an editorial board of CBS News and Time magazine editors and reporters. The program also narrows the list of the 100 most influential persons down to five: Franklin D. Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Einstein, Adolf Hitler and Mohandas Gandhi.
