Brooklyn Nine-Nine is back and the honeymoon is over.
Seriously. Season 6 kicked off with Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) on their Honeymoon with a less than happy Raymond (Andre Braugher) (I still need that Pineapple shirt). So where does the crew of the Nine-Nine go from there? It’s back to the precinct for an episode called “Hitchcock & Scully” which is one of Andy’s favorite episodes.
First up, Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) is expecting, kind of. He got a vasectomy so his “mehh” no longer makes “woo hoo” as Jake puts it. He’s adopting what he thinks is Nikolaj’s brother, but we’re pretty sure its a grown man trying to get into the US. Next up is the reason for the title, Jake and Charles need to interview Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) and Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) to find out if they stole money from the mob back in the 1980s. A Jake and Charles episode with Hitchcock & Scully? Never knew I needed that but here we are. If that’s not enough, the street cops AKA Downstairs people are in the precinct and there is trouble. For one the microwave is a mess so Terry (Terry Crews) and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) decided they can’t use it anymore, and Amy tries to change that.
‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 6 Episode 2 called “Hitchcock & Scully” airs Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 9 PM on NBC.
