Princess Anne hospitalised

British royal Princess Anne was admitted to a hospital in Scotland with a “bad” chest infection earlier this week (beg05Sep16).
The Princess Royal, the daughter of monarch Queen Elizabeth II, fell ill during her stay at the Balmoral estate in Scotland and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary hospital on Wednesday (07Sep16).
The 66-year-old was treated at the facility before being discharged. She is now resting at the estate but has cancelled all public duties for the coming week (begs12Sep16) while she recovers.
“The Princess Royal is recovering from a bad chest infection,” a representative for Buckingham Palace said in a statement. “On doctors’ orders she has cancelled her engagements for the coming week… She is resting privately at home.”
