Synopsis

The story, set in the Old West, follows the adventures of Prudence MacKenzie, widow, teacher and missionary, who, on behalf of the United Council of Churches, establishes a parochial school on a Cheyenne Indian reservation. The pilot depicts Prudence's efforts to convince Snow Eagle, chief of the Cheyenne, that he and his people need a church school on the reservation in order that they may be properly ruled by their white conquerors.
