Red Nose Day host offers support to absent pop star Louis Tomlinson

Veteran comedian Lenny Henry took a moment to honour the memory of Louis Tomlinson’s late sister during Friday night’s (15Mar19) Red Nose Day telethon in the U.K.
The pop star had to pull out of a performance on the show following the sudden death of his 18-year-old sibling Felicite on Wednesday and Lenny, who was hosting the festivities, wanted to make sure the teen fashion designer – and her brother – were remembered.
“Tonight, we were due to be joined by a special member of the Comic Relief family,” Henry said. “Louis Tomlinson wants to be on this stage to help us, but the sudden and tragic loss of his sister Felicite obviously means he can’t be here. The love and best wishes from all of us at Comic Relief go out to Louis and his family at this terrible time.”
Singer Louis was slated to perform his new single, Two Of Us, on Friday night’s Comic Relief event.
He wrote the track as a tribute to his mother, who lost her battle with cancer in 2016.
Felicite was found dead at her Earls Court, London home on Wednesday. Reports suggest she suffered a heart attack.
