‘Revolution’ Will Take a Four-Month Hiatus to Wait for ‘The Voice’

Fans of NBC’s massive hit drama Revolution are likely feeling very disappointed right now — the peacock just announced that after the show’s Nov. 26 midseason finale, there will be a four-month hiatus before new episodes return. It will return March 25, the same night as the premiere of the new cycle of its Monday night ratings buddy, The Voice. Why ruin a good thing, right?

This move will allow NBC to air originals, uninterrupted, into the summer, while keeping its Monday nights rating buster intact. We’re pretty confident that ratings won’t suffer, and that the addition of Usher and Shakira to The Voice (and subsequent departure of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green) will add to a strong opening night.
