Santa Jr | 2002
When Chris Kringle Jr is picked up for shoplifting in a department store, he tells store detective Norm Potter he's the son of Santa Claus, but the detective isn't buying the story. Chris is assigned a public defender, Susan Flynn, a woman hardened to the Christmas season, to his case. Despite not wanting to do the job of his father, he tries desperately to get out of jail so he can fulfill the obligation. When Chris is ordered to undergo a house arrest at Susan's house until his impending trial, he begins to win Susan over with his story, leading her to believe that maybe he is actually who he says he is. Soon, Chris realizes he must figure out how to escape his predicament and do the Christmas job of delivering presents that is his destiny.
