The O.C. was one of those delicious teen dramas that sucked you in, and made you forget about all of your troubles. At its height the show had the best plot twists and the juiciest story lines. Though it premiered on television over a decade ago, it’s still one of the most beloved teen soaps of all time. Check out what the cast has been up to since the show wrapped in 2007.

Mischa Barton - Marissa Cooper

Mischa Barton exited The O.C. and her role as troubled teen Marissa Cooper at the end of the show's 3rd season in 2006. After leaving the series,  Barton has continued to work both in television and on film, including a role on the short-lived series The Beautiful Life in 2009 which aired on The CW. Unfortunately, none of these projects have been quite as popular as The O.C. and Barton's personal life, including a DUI charge and money troubles have overshadowed her work as an actress.
Ben McKenzie - Ryan Atwood

Ben MacKenzie stayed on The O.C. as the outcast Ryan Atwood who continued to steal our hearts until the very end. Since then, MacKenzie has continued to see major success on television including his role on as rookie police officer Ben Sherman on TNT's Southland, and most recently on the Batman prequel Gotham where Mackenzie plays detective James Gordon. Keep wielding your badges Mr. MacKenzie because we likey.
Adam Brody - Seth Cohen

Who didn't fall in love with Adam Brody when he played the played the awkwardly adorable Seth Cohen? Brody remained on The O.C. until the series finale.  He has openly talked about his sarcastic sense of humor, and he also plays in a band called The Shortcoats. Brody dated his O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson until 2006. After the teen drama wrapped up, Brody went on to star in a plethora of films including Mr. & Mrs Smith and Life Partners alongside his wife Leighton Meester of Gossip Girl fame. The couple is reportedly expecting their first child soon.

Rachel Bilson - Summer Roberts

Though Rachel Bilson's character Summer Roberts initially seemed catty and spoiled, fans of The O.C. soon learned that the pint size beauty was a total bad ass.  Bilson stayed in the role until the series finale and eventually became the female lead upon Mischa Barton's departure. After The O.C., she has gone on to see major success on both the big screen and on television. In 2008 she co-stared in Jumper where she met her boyfriend Hayden Christensen. (The two now have a 1-year old daughter together.)  In 2011 Bilson snagged the starring role in The CW's Heart of Dixie which ran for four seasons.
Kelly Rowan - Kristen Cohen

Kelly Rowan played the loving but troubled Kristen Cohen on The O.C. for the entire duration of its run. After The O.C. ended in 2007, Rowan stepped on the other side of the camera and produced several projects for Lifetime. In 2012, Rowan starred opposite Eric McCormack on TNT's Perception until the series was cancelled this past spring. She also starred in her O.C. co-star Peter Gallagher's music video for his song "Still I Long for Your Kiss".
Peter Gallagher - Sandy Cohen

Playing the loving and supportive Sandy Cohen on The O.C. was just another role in the long list of performances for actor Peter Gallagher. Once the show wrapped in 2007, Gallagher went on to star in everything from Californication to Covert Affairs. He is currently co-starring on Broadway in the play On the Twentieth Century.

Melinda Clarke - Julie Cooper

O.C. lovers recognize Melinda Clarke as Julie Cooper; Marrissa's manipulative, cunning and gold-digging mother, However other fans of Clarke's will recognize her from hit shows like Entourage, The Vampire Diaries and Nikita. Clarke is also a voice actress who played Charlene on King of the Hill.
Tate Donovan - Jimmy Cooper

After leaving The O.C. behind him in 2006, Tate Donovan went on to star in the Emmy award winning  legal thriller Damages alongside Glenn Close and Rose Byrne. Once the show concluded in 2012, Donvan went on to star in many other series, including 24: Live Another Day, and most recently Showtime's Master's of Sex. In 2013 when discussing the 10th Anniversary of The O.C., Donovan spoke out about how difficult it was for him to work with the younger stars from the series. He told Vulture, "the kids on the show had developed a really bad attitude."
Autumn Reeser - Taylor Townsend

Autumn Reeser has been super busy since her days as the overachieving Taylor Townsend on The O.C. After the series ended, Reeser went on to star in Entourage and Hawaii-Five O among other shows. She even joined former co-star Rachel Bilson in an episode of Heart of Dixie this past year. Reeser has two sons, Finneus and Dashiell.

Alan Dale - Caleb Nichol

Though his character Caleb Nichol died from a heart attack during the second season of The O.C., Alan Dale hasn't slowed down one bit. After leaving the teen soap, Dale had long running roles on Ugly Betty, Entourage and Lost. Most recently Dale has starred on NCIS and the Syfy series Dominion. Dale is known for citing Winston Churchill in saying "Never, never, never give up!"
Chris Carmack - Luke Ward

Who could forget Chris Carmack as the hunky Luke Ward?  His classic line, "Welcome to the O.C. bitch!" is still a fan fave. Though Carmack left The O.C. after the first season, he went on to work as a model for Abercrombie & Fitch while acting in various roles on television. In 2013, Carmack snagged a recurring role on the ABC country drama Nashville and was subsequently promoted to series regular.
Willa Holland - Kaitlin Cooper

Willa Holland played troublemaker Kaitlin Cooper (a role previously held by Shailene Woodley),
Marissa’s spoiled little sister on The O.C.  Though she didn’t have a main role in the show until the final season, Holland went on to secure several roles following the success of The O.C. Most notably, Holland played a recurring role in Gossip Girl.  She has played the roles of Thea Queen and Speedy in The CW's hit show Arrow since 2012. Most recently she secured the lead role in the thriller film, Pacific Standard Time.

Michael Cassidy - Zach Stevens

As Zach Stevens, Michael Cassidy played the only real threat there ever was to our favorite couple Seth and Summer. Cassidy has been in quite a few films and TV shows since departing the The O.C. back in 2005. He had a starring role in TBS' Men At Work which lasted three seasons. He is set to make an appearance in the highly-anticipated superhero film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is set to release in 2016.  Cassidy can also be spotted in an episode of Scandal for all you Shondaland lovers out there.
Michael Nouri - Dr. Neil Roberts

Michael Nouri played Summer's dad, the solemn plastic surgeon Dr. Neil Roberts on The O.C. He has acquired a great number of credits since the show concluded in 2007. Having starred in some of the biggest soaps of the age, including The Young and The Restless and All My Children, he can also be spotted in shows like House, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Army Wives.
Samaire Armstrong - Anna Stern

Samaire Armstrong was lovely as the comic book loving Anna Stern. She played Seth Cohen's "other" love interest on The. O.C. until 2006. After leaving the series, Armstrong went on to appear on various television shows including Dirty, Sexy Money, The Mentalist and Resurrection. Armstrong has a son named Calin and is slated to star in the upcoming film Carter & June.

Cam Gigandet - Kevin Volchok

Who could forget Cam Gigandet as Kevin Volchok, the boy who helped lead to Marissa's demise? Since leaving The O.C. in 2007, Gigandent has gone on to star in the Twilight Saga and is currently filming Antonque Fuqu's Magnificent Seven with Chris Pratt, Matt Bomer and Denzel Washington. Gigandet has a black belt in Krav Maga ,and is currently expecting his third child with his partner Dominique Geisendorff.
Amanda Righetti - Hailey Nichol

After leaving the role of Kirstin's rebellious sister Hailey behind her on The O.C., Amanda Righetti went on to star in the wildly popular series The Mentalist. Righetti has also had roles on Chicago Fire and Chicago, P.D. and she had a small role in Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger. She has one son Knox, with her husband Jordan Alan.
