Whenever a duo tries out for ‘The Voice’, the coaches always have a great reaction. Expecting to hear one voice, but all of a sudden there’s a second voice and the look of confusion is always great.
In this clip, ONEUP covers the classic “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love” by the Spinners. The two are dancing along with it, and while audiences love it, the coaches have no idea because they are looking in the opposite direction. You can tell the judges are grooving and like the music, but can Motown still work in today’s world?
Spoiler ahead: late in the song, Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Clarkson all think it can work and turn their chairs. That’s when we learn more about the duo and find out they are actually a couple in real life. The entire family is brought out and you can just tell how much love is in the studio. Kelly cries, realizing how great it is that a gay interracial couple is doing what they love and things just got a whole lot better for them. Jennifer than becomes part of the family and Blake gives his case that he can be successful with duos.
As always the only way to find out who wins the opportunity to coach them is to watch tonight.
‘The Voice’ Season 15 Episode 5 airs tonight 8-10 p.m. ET on NBC.
