Shame, Shame, Shame | 1998
Maura, a beautiful, successful woman, is consumed by her study of the human sexual psyche. With emphasis on hidden images and fantasies that bring on shame, she interviews and tapes men and women who share intimate details of their sexual memories and fantasies. Unable to commit to her boyfriend, McCarthy, and haunted by frightening "flashes" of her mother in the past, Maura, despite the help of her therapist, tries to unlock the corner of her mind where she hides her sexual anxiety. In her obsession, she becomes a voyeur in the sensual escapes of her subjects, including her colleague Lani, as she searches for the key to unlock her own past and free herself of shame.
