Synopsis

The first TV-movie made exclusively for syndication rather than for a network airing, this Canadian-made production deals with Dr. R. Adams Cowley, the Baltimore physician who pioneered medicine's first shocktrauma unit, fighting hospital bureaucracy to gain recognition for his center. Except for star William Conrad, the cast and crew are Canadian, and the film was made entirely in Toronto.
