Snooki and the ‘Jersey Shore’ Boys Talk Vinny Leaving the Show: Late Last Night

Last night, on a very special Jersey Shore-themed night in the talk show universe, Jay Leno welcomed Snooki to The Tonight Show to talk about Vinny’s decision to leave the show, as well as her own thoughts on whether she might be leaving Jersey Shore soon…not to mention her hatred for newcomer The Unit.

The Jersey Shore boys, Mike the Situation, Ronnie, Vinny and DJ Pauly D showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to get subtly (and somewhat cluelessly) made fun of by Jimmy. They also discussed Vinny leaving the show, as well as Pauly’s spinoff, and what would be “the best hookup in Jersey Shore history.”

Over on Conan, the great Gary Oldman discussed how Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy might have been a very heart-healthy choice for him as an actor, and how he used to “turn on” Joe Pesci by punching him in the face on the set of JFK.

Finally, back on Jimmy Kimmel, Christina Ricci discussed her love for reality TV, including everything that involves a housewife or a teen mom in it.

Staff editor Michael Arbeiter’s natural state of being can best be described as “mild panic attack.” His earliest memories of growing up in Queens, New York, involve nighttime conversations with a voice from his bedroom wall (the jury’s still out on what that was all about) and a love for classic television that spawned from the very first time he was allowed to watch “The Munsters.” Attending college at SUNY Binghamton, a 20-year-old Michael learned two things: that he could center his future on this love for TV and movies, and that dragons never actually existed — he was kind of late in the game on that one.
