Watch Seth Rogen, John Cho, & Adam Scott Audition To Play Dwight and Jim on ‘The Office’

Credit: NBC

Isn’t it impossible to imagine the characters on the cult favorite The Office played by other actors? The special footage on the season 9 DVD entertains this crazy notion by providing fans with the audition tapes from 2003. What’s even better is that these auditions were done by actors who became super heavy hitters in the biz.

Among them Adam Scott from Parks and Recreation and John Cho from Harold & Kumar auditioning for the part of Jim Halpert. Seth Rogen auditioned to play the adorably awkward Dwight Schrute, can you even picture that?? Kathryn Hahn, who has starred in comedy classics such as Anchorman and has even worked next to Adam Scott in Parks and Recreation as well, tried to nail the role of Pam Beesley. Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer along with the rest of The Office  cast have definitely made their respective characters their own, but it’s still fun to see what could’ve been, especially when it comes to such a talented bunch. Step into this alternate universe for yourself, check it out below.
