In most high schools the students just don’t want to be there.
They don’t want to learn, they don’t want to be in class, they just want it to be over with. For students taking an advanced placement course its kind of important. They realize they eventually want to go to college and this class will help them. For ‘A.P. Bio’ Jack (Glenn Howerton) does not want to be there. He’s a recently fired Harvard philosophy professor, and when he gets a job as a high school A.P. Bio teacher, he hates it. Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) has to keep him happy, but what will happen to the children?
I loved Glenn in ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia’, and while he may or may not be no longer on the show, this seems like it’s going to be a great fit for him. In the above interview, Glenn Howerton tells us more about why his character finds himself in this predicament and how he acts, Patton Oswalt goes into his character and why he deals with Jacks’ behavior, and Glenn comes back and talks about what will eventually happen to Nick and the students.
‘A.P. Bio’ premieres Tomorrow, February 1, 2018, on NBC.
