Three vignettes tied together by a real estate agent who can't figure out why the blood-soaked history of three of his listings are such a tough sell. Agent Bob Carter takes a newlywed couple in search of the tract home of their dreams. The young couple is delighted by the three properties that they have seen until Bob tells them the horrible, bloody fates of the previous owners.
In the tale of the first property, the Freemont estate, Sarah Freemont awakens in the dead of night, heart in throat, and tries not to scream, She knows her sadistic husband Louis is dead, the body disposed of in the nearby lake; but the police are asking questions, and Sarah is plagued by nightmares and a horrifying conviction that Louis is still alive, his corpse rising from the murky depths to torment her.
In the tale of the second property, the Gatley home, seven-year-old Jennifer Gatley is enchanted to discover a monkey in her backyard. Her father, Ron, reluctantly allows her to keep the pet -- until he witnesses disturbing signs that "Bobo" is evil. As the fabric of his life violently unravels, Ron realizes it is up to him to rid his home of the demonic primate.
